ERG
has been selected by the City of Pueblo, Colorado to
provide consulting assistance in evaluating the possible
acquisition of the electric system facilities and operation
of Aquila, Inc., the City’s electric service provider,
either by negotiated purchase or condemnation, and either
limited to those facilities located within the City limits,
or Aquila’s entire Colorado service territory, which
also includes service to La Junta, Rocky Ford and Canon
City. ERG will be responsible for identifying the facilities
to be acquired, load forecasting, power supply considerations,
determination of overall condition, appraisal and valuation
services and development of an estimate of fair market
value in support of negotiations.
